For me there is nothing that quite fills my heart with joy as officiating a baby blessing. It's an honor to witness the love parents have for their child and their gratitude for the miracle of new life. It's an opportunity to recognize the generations who came before and the hopes for generations to come. The naming of the child is a sacred act where a family can affirm their personal commitments to and greatest hopes for their baby.

All and all it’s a time for parents family and friends to come together in sacred celebration of love in its purest form. Every birth is a holy birth.

My biggest challenge as a minister is to keep from kissing the baby during the ceremony :)
